Oil & Gas

Kara Partners has active projects underway across upstream, midstream and downstream investments in the oil & gas industry for both emerging and mature businesses. Project finance investment involves both debt and equity capital infusion through a network of investors including PE Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Hedge Funds and Strategic Investors. Kara is able to structure transactions using a variety of asset classes including senior debt, unitranche, mezzanine and equity capital. Kara also offers growth and working capital financing options for clients seeking $5M to $50M in investment.

Primary areas of interest for investment include Upstream E&P, Midstream (Offtake, Downstream (Retail Energy, Refineries) and Infrastructure Assets.

Power & Renewables

Kara Partners is committed towards becoming a leading provider of capital financing in the renewable energy space worldwide as a hedge against demand for fossil fuels. Operating models for SPVs include both BOOT and BOT options with deal initiation structured through asset acquisitions or transfer of ownership. Kara also maintains relationships with Global EPC contractors and OEMs to accelerate time to market on select projects.

Primary areas of interest for investment include Power Generation, Waste-to-Energy, Biomass, Solar, Wind and Battery Technology plays.

Software

Kara Partners has core expertise in assisting firms seeking investment in enterprise software applications and innovation to achieve their growth objectives through the infusion of thought leadership, business acumen and growth capital. Areas of impact include equity & debt financing (Seed, Series A&B) , business transformation, Board-level advisory, executive coaching and investor relations.

Primary areas of interest for investment include Analytics, Education, Energy, Blockchain and IoT.

Real Estate

Kara Partners is actively focussed on sourcing capital in commercial real estate for both ground-up construction and acquisitions of existing assets. We are able to raise capital ranging from $30M to over $1B through our network of investors, including Family Offices, Private Equity, HNIs, Hard Money Lenders and traditional Banks. Areas of impact include commercial financing, hard money lending and bridge loans.

Primary areas of interest for investment include multifamily, hotels and mixed-use, condos and senior living.
